School Carnival

Brave Hailey had no hesitation getting on, she is use to it! Shane didn't do the reverse Bungee, it looked boring.

Grandma and Grandpa Hobb came out for the weekend, we had a nice visit with them

Great pose

Enjoying the game

Grass

Hailey was sitting in the grass, which hasn't been mowed in a long time, picks up a piece that was about to sprout and said, "We eat this for dinner". She was referring to asparagus.

Milk

Shane was in the car, just he and I, when he asked me, "Is the milk that comes out of your boobs organic?" Not sure where that came from.

Hailey's 3rd Bday

Hailey's Birthday ragger- Guest List - Jake, Reese, Jaime, Saar, Papu and Papa
Reese partying it up

Life size Scooby Doo

First time riding a bike with training wheels. When we bought the bike we didn't realize that it's the same size as Shane's bike. She gets on and off the bike like a boy and rides fast!

Dinosaur Birthday Cake- When asked what part she wanted she replied, "The dinosaur's butt". Why am i not suprised?

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

When Shane got in the car on Friday he said that they had a dress rehearsal for their play at school and he was just so excited and telling me all about it. Then he said to me, "Can you please, please come and see me in it." I told him i would love to and asked if he wanted daddy to come too, and he immediatley said, "YES!" I sure hope he doesn't have the desire to be on stage too. As soon as the curtain lifted he saw us and waved with a big smile. Shane was a Papa Bear and didn't look nervous at all. He did a Great Job!

The after party!

Yankees

A cute picture Papu took at Shane's game. He really likes Tball (which scares Jesse and I). Shane has started to show a lot more interest in sports just in the past 2 weeks. Can't wait to see where this all leads
Four families from our neighborhood went to Medieval Times. It was perfect because Nicole planned it on Hailey's Bday so we told her this was her Bday party. Here are 7 of the 9 kids that went. 3 of the families with the Princess

Chris, Casey and Jesse

Yes, that is water she is drinking

They all had a blast and once again Shane ate everything on his plate (no utensils) and came home looking like a grease ball.

Irvine Regional Park

Shots from our adventures at Irvine Regional Park. Train rides, pony rides, hay rides, boat rides, bike rides, a zoo...what more could a kid want?

Hay Ride

Hailey insisted that i sit at the back of the train, i enjoyed the peace and quiet while it lasted

Cheese!

Heaven on earth

Petting at the Irvine Zoo, yes Irvine has a Zoo. $2 entry and about 50 California native animals.

Hunting for Pollywogs

Sleepover

Riley had Shane over for a sleepover Saturday night. Both of the boys were so excited and had a good time. Hailey stayed, but only until 10pm.

Spring Break

This is Shane's last day of spring break and we have been doing stuff everyday, usually his choice. As we were in the car going to Hailey's Friday class, Shane said, "I can't wait for Monday to come and go back to school." I said, "Why Shane?" and he said, "Because i like it and it's fun". It put a smile on my face, and then i thought to myself, How in the world can school be more fun than Spring Break? We had a bunch of playdates, rode ponies, and a train, painted the chicken coup, rode bikes, went to the beach, played golf at Sea Aire Golf Course, went out to lunch at his favorite places, stayed up late, watched movies and had no homework! Makes me wonder what they do at school everyday?

Horses and Trains

Not sure why we didn't ever come to Griffith Park sooner. The kids got to ride Horses around a mini race track and both loved it.
Shane got to gallop around the track with his horse. He said it was fun but hurt his back a little. When he turns 7 he can ride the bigger horses which go even faster.

Hailey wasn't all talk today. When asked by the instructor which horse she wanted, she pointed to the biggest one (the one Shane isn't even big enough to ride). The guy laughed and pointed to the ponies and said pick one of those. She loved it!

On the Train Ride

Sugar in the Brain
Travel Town

I told Shane to lie down on the train tracks and act like that train was going to run him over- this was all he would do. He was too embarassed. So i told him to take a picture of me lying down, and he was even too embarassed to do that. BahHumbug

The true meaning of Easter

At diner tonight, we told Shane about the real reason we celebrate Easter. We went through Jesus' crucifixion, burial, and resurection. Shane sat thinking for a moment and finally said, "So what are the eggs all about?"

Golf Club Brunch

We went to the Golf Club for brunch. Showed up and said Camp/Mehlberg and they didn't have us on the list. Next thing you know we have primo seats right next to the window. Shane once again wins for eating the most. After having 2 plates full of eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles, he headed over to the chocolate fountain and put everything possible in it. Then when he was done he went back and got some Salmon for dessert.

So sophisticated. She downed every type of drink at the table (not just hers) OJ, Coffee, and Champagne. We have no idea how much she drank but when ever the waiter came over to ask if we wanted more, she was always saying YES!

Getting ready for Egg Hunt #3

Everyone loves Daddy

The whole brunch Hailey wanted to sit on the Bunny's lap but we told her not until we were finish eating. So here the kids are with the bunny and Hailey is trying to put her fist in her mouth as she is nervous. But as soon as the bunny walked away she wanted more of him.

Thanks Hub- We all had a good time
