Hooky
Claudia and I decided to take the kids out of school early because of the gorgeous beach weather. Shane did a little body surfing and Hailey completely wiped out numerous times but got back up and didn't blink an eye.

Hailey's 1st day at Preschool
Hailey went to her 1st day of preschool. She looked and acted the part until it was time for me to go. Then all Hell broke loose and she started to cry and yell "Mommy". The teacher held her as i left and i stood in the hall for about 20 seconds and she stopped crying and started to play again. I knew the longer i stayed the worse it would get.
When i picked her up 1 1/2 hours later, she was all smiles and told me everything she did and she said it was fun!

Sea World
We went to San Diego for the weekend and had a great time. We went to Sea World on Saturday with Isabell , Clark and Chelsea. The kids loved it and it was mine and the kids first time there. We got to see a couple of the shows which were real entertaining. Then we hung out with the extended family back at Grandma and Grandpa Hobbs.
Here the kids are feeding the seals frozen fish. I love the expression on Shane's face as Jesse is about to eat the fish

Dodger Game
Shane and Jesse went to the Dodger game Tuesday night with Kyle and Gene. They had a great time, front row seats and the boys even caught some balls (from the pitchers cage that they sat next to). Shane was sick and Jesse didn't even know it until the food came and he couldn't finish anything- Red Flag!

"That's yours"
Hailey and I were sitting on the floor this evening getting ready to eat popcorn. I asked if she would share with me. As she turned to share, she accidentally knocked over the container, spilling some on the ground. Without missing a beat, she picked up the container, looked at the pile on the floor and said, "That's yours"

First Day of 1st Grade School
Words can't retell this story but i have to document the memory.
As we turned the corner in the hallway to head down to the blacktop at Shane's school, we suddenly saw a swarm of kids running towards us. They yelled, "Shane, Shane" and he didn't know what to do. Shane just stood there stiff as a board while all his buddies came running up to hug him. Then someone else would see Shane and yell, "Shane, Shane" and come up to him and tell him all sorts off stuff and run away. I think he got so overwhelmed that after the 10th kid Shane just decided to start running, and everyone followed. Let's just say there was a lot of energy in the air and Shane had a per-ma-grin on his face, see below. I was so glad Jesse was with me to see it because it was priceless.
