El Capitan Glamping

I have found my new love- Glamping.  It couldn’t have been more perfect, 3 days with the Belofsky family.  The weather was ideal, the grounds spectacular, the adults relaxed and the kids had a blast.  It felt like camping yet i never felt exhausted or dirty, never cooked, we slept, were warm and comfortable with a cafe that was the bomb. This is going to be an annual trip.

No cars allowed on the campground so the kids could just roam free for miles and miles.  stress free

The beautiful bike ride to the beach about a 1/2 mile away on a little winding road under bridges and through trees

At the campground cafe, the kids learned how to charge to the room real fast!  They must have visited it at least 6 times a day

The kids were in bed by 8:30 every night exhausted

 

The pool was heated, a nice perk

There were very few people staying here, we were the loud ones

Entertained in the evenings by throwing things into the fire, glass bottles, bananas, mussels and trash

Student section- finally

18 years of being a Bruin, and we finally got to sit in the student section!  Crazy it was

Hailey is playing on a team with all 2nd graders from her school.  She is scoring in every game and loving it.  Here she is with Mischa.

Hailey’s  best friend from school, Nicolette (top left) is on the team which makes it even more fun.

It doesn’t get any better than this, negative tide with Santa Anas!  We show up and ran into 4 families we knew.

Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa

Jesse and i got away for a few days and went to the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa.  It couldn’t have been anymore peaceful, beautiful and relaxing.  It was hard to come home. 

Bummer

Shane saved a goal and paid the price!  He was so bummed, he wasn’t sure he could still play video games.  We had tickets to the Galaxy game that night with everyone we knew in PV, that cheered him up!

 

Happy to be around friends.  My friend who does the face painting hooked Hailey up.  Hailey thinks this is what you get every time you go to a Galaxy game!

A few days later in the real cast.  The doctor said no outside activity, so the first thing we did was go to soccer practice.  Shane has been such a trooper through all of this
