Pumas

Hailey is playing with girls a year older this season and is averaging 3 goals a game.   Unfortunately the 2nd best girl on her team had to quit after the first game so Hailey, is the Pumas!  The benefit is that Hailey gets to play the entire game and never be subbed out.  She really gives it her all and is dominating, so much fun to watch.

Hailey does it all, corner kicks, throw ins, and dribbles from one end of the field to the other to score.  Needless to say, she is going to bed early on Saturdays.

Whoops

Jesse cut Shane’s hair the other day,  whoops, wrong blade!  Shane was such a good sport and never complained that he was BALD.  His friends all give him looks like, What happened!  Good thing Shane is very comfortable in his skin.  His friend Luke, after hanging out with him for 5 minutes finally said, “you look pretty good bald.”

Ditching

I woke up and decided, lets ditch school, go to the beach and out to lunch.  Shane brought his new frisbee which the kids thought was the greatest thing until the ocean ate it up.

MVP

Shane’s basketball team won a tournament and at the season ending party the coach stood up and said that he wanted to give the team trophy to the MVP of the tournament.  Shane was chosen, which was such an honor coming from Coach Mark.  I must say, Shane played well and earned it.

It’s a big one
