Selfies with Hai

When a child has a selfie stick, you capture some crazy moments

I love this pictures because I don't know if Makenna is posing by being on her phone or if Hailey just took a selfie with a teenager on a phone

Mother's Day

Mother's Day Breakfast with everyone
Mother's bike ride

What makes this trip so successful is that everyone has the same style of parenting- No BS!
One of the new families this year said, "I've never seen so many kids, so well behaved."  -That's right!
A great way to spend Mother's Day weekend.  I always look forward to hanging out with this camping group

Carpinteria Camping

We bought Shane this chair to sleep on while camping since he can't lay down flat.  He said it was so comfy.  It's basically a hospital bed
Kids saying hi to the early morning risers around the campfire
Hailey missed her Daddy and still has the puffer on!
Amber always comes up with something new, French Toast over the fire

East to West

I had to change our flight to an early morning one because I had forgotten we had our Annual Carpinteria Camping Trip that weekend.  I planned it so we would land in LAX at 10:30am on Friday and the boys would come pick us up and we would drive straight to the campsite.
We reserved a car to come pick us up in the morning, and this came!

In the Limo
We got some VIP treatment in the United Lounge Club, Hub had some extra passes.  Hailey was nervous and said, "Won't we stick out?  Isn't everyone going to be wearing a Tux?"  Not even close

Jesse didn't tell me that he took Aidan and Shane to Carpinteria on Thursdayand were already at the campsite with 2 other families.  I was even talking to him on the phone while in NY and he was setting up camp and he didn't say a word.  I love that he does stuff like this
Such a good secret keeper
The boys had to move the tent the next morning to our huge group site.  Instead of taking down the tent and putting it back together, 6 of them carried it 1/4 of a mile

Hailey and I arrived in LAX, found out the boys were already at the beach so we hopped in an Uber to meet Jesse 1/2 way.  Our driver loved show tunes and was singing the whole time, felt like NYC

From coast to coast and I still beat 3 of the families that were driving up that day
I love that that kids all get along and find simple, funny things to do together.  Mentos and Coke
 Slackline was a hit

Jesse's office, not too shabby
This lady was working out in the park.  The next thing you know she put the kids through an entire workout
Friday night girls crew
You can't even tell that Shane has a broken collar bone in this picture.  He's been such a trooper
We bring Aidan every year on this trip.  Everyone in the group always asks, "Are you bringing Aidan again?"  The trip wouldn't be the same without him, he's awesome!

I knew I was going to sleep well that night
