We celebrated Mother's Day a week early, going to the LAFC game.
We had our 7th Annual Mother's Day trip to Carpinteria. This year Hailey brought a friend, not sure why since 7 families go with us! We made it in record time this year, I think the weather forecast scared people
Hailey and Katie, the weather looked threating
It's so great how the kids are old enough to actually go into town buy wood and help. We bought so much thinking the weather wasn't going to be good.
1/2 hour rain delay forced the kid to play cards!
Camp party of 6
Jesse with his new toys, the one wheel and 360 camera
Woke up to the most gorgeous day
we even had a -3 tide which made for a walk on the beach to the tidepools ideal
Las Madres -we laughed a lot
we all went to the beach to hang out for the afternoon, it was gorgeous
The girls and I did some shopping in town and all scored something cute
Shane got so good on the one wheel, he was cruising the streets on it. I was so proud of him
Sunny, 3 minutes of rain, and a rainbow while BBQing dinner
I'm always amazed how great our food turns out while camping- group effort
the boys did it
Hailey got really good on the one wheel too, on our last night.
Mother's Day Breakfast -27 people, 8am
Aidan, our 3rd child, has come with us for 6 years
Best year yet! Everything worked out perfectly.
game of hot potato, a tradition right before we all hop in the cars to go home
One of the hits of the weekend, these chickens!
Looking forward to next year, already!
