Jake's Bday Terranea

We celebrated Jake's Bday at Terranea. A few families came to swim and hang out and we had the whole pool to ourselves, waterslide included. Hailey passed the swim test which consisted of swimming across the pool and was able to go down all by herself.

Moms and Pops

Our private pool party and firepit, the place was empty on a Thursday at 1pm. A great way to start the first day of summer vacation, we stayed for 6 hours

Of course there were a few things for the adults. We had relay races across the pool, moms vs dads, pin the nose on the clown and arm wrestling between the moms. The kids enjoyed watching us

Makeup

I got Hailey a little makeup kit for her Bday. She loves to put on eyeshadow right before bed. We keep trying to tell her it's for the day time, not while sleeping. Here she is getting ready to go to the Bubble Balls. She likes to use the toaster as a mirror.

Jake and Reese visit

It was the perfect weekend for the Danon's to come out. We had our Indian Guides BBQ and they got to see everyone

Jake slept over. I forgot what an easy kid he is to have over. The kids were so excited to see each other again and had such a good time

We had to take the kids to the Bubble Balls after they saw the video of us walking on water. We rallied the troops and had 4 families join us.

Reese in a ball, by far the youngest. Jaime lied that she was of age. Not even close to the minimum age but Reese loved it

The kids loved going in the bubble balls so much that everyone wanted to do it again. We told them no, we have to go eat at Hooters now! Kyle's exact words, "Again?" Kids eat free on Sundays

“Walking” on water

...so your kids are with a babbysitter, you have the whole night to do what ever you want, naturally you think you can walk on water...think again.

Saar and Jaime were in town and joined us in our night out. We all got in the pool at the same time. You wouldn't believe how hard it was to stand up in those balls. We were laughing so hard and in the end had tears going down our face and our tummies hurting. What a fun memory.

Backhand

I got Jesse on the tennis court the other day while the kids were at school. He had a few hours to spare one morning. While we were playing he got a call and this is what i heard, "Could i give you a call back, I am working out." The other person said something like what are you working on and then Jesse said, "I am working on my backhand." Never thought i would hear those words out of his mouth. Jesse is a really good tennis player, i have to be careful not to practice with him too much!

Shane's class put on a play called "The Great Kapok Tree" Shane and Riley were snakes and had a few lines and then sang a song
