Family Baseball Game

6 families joined us for a little friendly baseball game over the weekend

4th of July -evening

We headed over to my parent's house for the fireworks show with some of our friends -the normal crew. While we waited for the barge to launch you could see 100's of other fireworks shows off in the distance all night long

4th of July -golf

We entered the family golf tournament and we all got to play! It was a scramble and i think we used everyone's ball at some point. Some more than others We got 3rd place!

The kids loved riding in the carts and driving it too. The girls had their own cart, it was wild. Shane was the only injury all day. Papu ran over his foot as he was trying to race us running, good thing he said it felt like a massage.

Pete and Shane loved playing the miniature golf course. Papu said she would give them a $1000 if they could get a hole in 1 on the 9th hole. No Luck

Pie eating contest, Shane never gave up but the pies, were too big. You can see on his face he was sick to his stomach and we went home shortly after. Poor guy

A very pleasant and fun 4th

It’s official…

…Shane now eats more than his father.  We went to lunch yesterday and ordered the same thing (the only exception is I got salad and Shane got fries).

Then, to make it official, at dinner I ate 1 hot dog and Shane ate 2.  I fear for my wallet.

We went to a soccer game and there were fireworks afterwards

My friend Holly had her nephew in town the same time Pete was out. Both boys going into 6th grade and will be seeing a lot of each other
