Brush your Hair

Everyday we have a battle to brush Hailey's hair. She absolutely hates it. I told her i wasn't going to move the car until she brushes her hair. Here is a picture of us in the car waiting and then she said, "I want Shane to do it." Being the nice brother he did it.

Horsey Hailey

We headed up to Griffith park and Hailey had to ride the horses. Shane opted out and chose to video her on the phone. Never once did i have to tell her to smile, she definitely has a thing for horses

Hobbs visit

Twylla, Kylee, and Brian came up for a visit. They came to see Shane play Baseball and go to a Dodger vs Padre game. Twylla stayed home with the girls and helped entertain Hailey. After dinner the kids warmed up and were in their element showing off the trapeze, bungee, trampoline, zipline, ect.

Padre’s had a no-hitter going until the bottom of the 9th, but ended up loosing on 2 base hits and a steal. Shane loved $1 Dodger Dog Day (Shane’s Box Score: 2 Dodger Dogs, 1 Medium Sprite, 1 pack of Dibs, 1 pack of M&Ms, and some Peanuts from Kylee). Thanks for the tickets Kylee!!!

Adult Swim

The weekend of July 4th was insane. We had a pool/BBQ party Friday, Saturday and Sunday which all went into late night hours. With our group of friends someone is hosting some type of get-together at least twice a week. When you have a group that has so much fun together, we miss each other when not together. By the time the 4th came no one wanted to do anything but rest. Here are some pictures a friend took of us

We looked at our calendar and were in shock that there was nothing written down for Sunday. Can't remember a day when the whole day was free. Hailey keeps talking about wanting to ride her bike without training wheels, so we tried it out. At first she was nervous and complaining the whole time Jesse was helping her

Then it clicked. She started with 10 seconds without falling, and by the time we left she could ride for 5 minutes at a time. She got so confident that she told Jesse to go away and not follow her

Hollywood

Pete and Matthew wanted to head up to Hollywood so we took all the kids for a little outing

We went to lunch and as we came out there was a flash mob starting up. I was so excited because i want to be in one

We went inside the Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum. There were some amusing things to see but my favorite was the 2 way mirror that had people try and do tongue tricks and as you leave you could watch everyone trying to do them
