Thanksgiving morning

One of our unwritten Thanksgiving traditions: champaign and sports at the Thorrington's. This year, Shane and Hailey got to take on MLS star John Thorrington in a friendly game of court soccer. It was a tough battle, but Hailey scored the winning goal.

Speedy Cats

Hailey loves playing soccer and gets so excited when its Saturday.  She really improved and dominated most of the games.  This was one of her attacking days.

Lightning Lizzzards

What a season!  Went from losing half our games to making it to the final 8 in the King of the Hill Tournament.  These boys improved so much and Shane played his butt off every  game.  Shane has his tongue out in most pictures

UCLA Pauley Pavilion

Our accountant is a season ticket holder for UCLA basketball and he was kind enough to give us two tickets to the UCLA vs UCI game. We were so excited to get to see the remodeled Pauley Pavilion. Shane wouldn't get his picture taken with the cheerleaders, but I bribed him into getting his picture with Joe Bruin. The game started at 8:30pm and being a school night, Shane found it a bit difficult to keep his eyes open. He was even a little disappointed when UCI missed two free-throws with the game tied 76-76 and only two seconds left on the clock. But I have to give him credit, he stuck it out to see UCLA win in OT.

Halloween

We had 3 Halloween parties to go to this year and Jesse thought up something different for each one.  He went from Zombie (his makeup was incredible, to an Olympic Athlete to Christian Grey.   I was just a NFL replacement referee and Anastasia Grey.

Hailey was a Mermaid during the day and Scooby Doo by night.  You will have to use your imagination as i don’t have any pictures and she won’t get back in her costume!

Jennings Oct. visit

The Jennings came to visit during one of our Santa Ana weekends.  We didn’t have a whole lot planned but we did head to the beach.  Here are the girls and Eli and digging
