Alisal Ranch

The entrance to Alisal Ranch where we stayed for 3 nights.  It was gorgeous and relaxing

 

 

The pool was a hit with the kids, i much preferred the Jacuzzi

  

The game room was well used by our group.  Papu didn’t let up

Hailey in Heaven= Trail rides on Little Chief, feeding time in the barn, and hanging out with the animals-  She spent many hours here

We were dirty and active all day and then at night we cleaned up.  Shane was funny because we bought him a new pair of dress shoes and he said he felt like a FBI agent.  He of all people liked dressing up each night.  Hailey refused to wear anything but a dress, no dressy pants for her

The kids would stuff their faces with the gourmet meals and dessert every night.  They over-indulged this night

We had such a great time together, many fond memories to be had.  Bingo, Musical Chairs, Storytime, Tripoly, and don’t forget the prize bin of Papu’s!

Boys night out

The boys went to LA Live and a Clippers games for their Christmas presents.  They got to see the Clipper Stripper!

Ice Skating Queens

A bunch of families went ice skating the day after Christmas.  I wasn’t sure how long Shane was going to last because he always complains that his ankles hurt in the cold.  The last 3 kids off the ice were my 2 and Aidan, they loved it!  Hailey got the hang of it in no time and wouldn’t get off the ice.   They came home all amped up and told Jesse how fast they were and how they would crash into the walls full speed ahead.  So then i showed movies of them ice skating on the TV and their descriptions didn’t live up to their actions on the screen.  The kids were baffled as they watched themselves, shocked that they didn’t look like they felt! 

 

Hailey’s new obsession, wants to Ice Skate everyday now!  We have gone 2 times in one week

 

Christmas Morning

The kids didn’t wake up until 6:45am, was happy about that!

Traditional cookie decorating at Papu’s.  This year the cookies looked a little odd with pastel frosting.  There must be shortage for the primary colors because we couldn’t find anything else.

Pre-Christmas w/Camps and Jennings

We celebrated Christmas a few days early while everyone was at our house.  Since we are in LA, we went for the Botox look

We lucked out with the weather and tide so we headed to Abalone Cove.
