A group of us went to see the Harlem Globetrotters. I have been wanting to see them since i was a kid, Jesse too. Shane just ate up all the basketball moves/tricks while Hailey loved all the goofy stuff they did to entertain in-between plays. Very entertaining

A soon to be MLB player, Vance Albitz came to talk to Shane’s class about gloves for troops. He asked a bunch of trivia question and this is how it went…….. “You will have to be a baseball junkie to get this question. What team did Jackie Robinson play for?” 4 other kids raised their hands and were wrong. Shane who only knows 2 MLB teams, raised his hand and said the Dodgers and won this signed bat!
I know that in the Camp family there is a gene for birds but i think our kids took it to another level. I wouldn’t get close to holding a peacock, they’re huge. Apparently this peacock lives at our neighbors house. It was abandoned and their son has raised it since it was a baby. It crazy how friendly it is.

Shane has already been to 2 Clipper and 2 UCLA games. Here he is with his friend Christian. They got on the jumbo screen twice at the Staples Center!

Hailey has been to 2 UCLA basketball games. I told the kids i would give them a buck if they got on the jumbo screen at the UCLA game. They got on it 3 times!

3rd annual Calico trip. Jesse decided to take Hailey at the last second and she was thrilled. This year the group rented 2 Kawasakis to add an extra element of fun

Casey, Chris and Jesse –The Night Riders Apparently Jesse was doing some pretty scary drives at night with some of the guys. They were asking him if he had been in the canyon before, and he said NO. He would crest a hill and get air on the other side and the guys would scream like little girls. (Yes, Jesse had been on the trail earlier)

This picture says it all. Hours after this Hailey puked all over her sleeping bag, she ate too many Cheetos that night. We think about 6 bags. Hailey loved hanging out with the boys that weekend, she fits right in.
Final count- 22 happy kids, 12 dedicated dads, 1 ER trip and a bunch of rested moms back home!
