Lake Mojave

My friend Tracey invited us to join them in Lake Mojave, they have boats, a house and lots of toys. She and her husband Chris grew up going to the lake.  Jesse and I don't know that first thing about the lake world so it's nice to go with them.  Tracey is driving the boat during our dawn patrol
Chris tearing it up
Their dog Maverick joined us the first day, the water was so warm

They had 2 boats that the kids kept switching on and off of.  I have never seen so many toys on a boat before.  We could do just about anything
Jesse wake boarding

Dylan and Shane
 Ella and Hailey
 a common site
The kids had their favorites rides
Black ice was their fav
 Shane loved Big Bertha
Chris's dad joined us and was a big help driving

We drove a good 50 miles on the boat that day and made it to some neat caves that had hot springs

We didn't get pictures of he really cool cave as we couldn't get our camera across the river and up the hill
We stopped for lunch, boys restocking
We made it all the way to the Hoover Dam

 Dam good pic

More land toys, Chris's dad just loved sharing all his toys with us
Thanks to the Freeburys for inviting us and showing us what lake-junkies are all about.  We will be back

MudButts part 3

3rd annual Mud Run.  We recruited some new people this year.
Once again I had to lie that the kids were 13, there were only a handful of kids in the whole race
Great having David join us before he moves to TX
The kids were so excited for this day to come, they love it!

Jesse doing his thang
This was some thick mud that felt great

The photographer on the side told the boys to go in the mud fast, as there was a hug hole

 Water slide time

Obstacles are much harder when you are 9 years old
Jesse trying to go up a mud hill and losing his balance and falling backwards

Molly laying on the hill while having our teammate climb up her to get up

Another fun run in the mud

Crushers last gig

The girls had a big break from soccer before the last tournament of the season.  They played U10 teams even though they are U9.  The girls have so much fun together, can you tell?
Going to the finals after playing in the rain.  Hailey's mouth is stuffed with donuts otherwise I'm sure it would be wide open
Here's a picture of some of our competition, kind of intimidating!

Champions!
 Hailey and Madi are inseparable
Next game in September!  I'm going to miss watching these girls

Ending with Style

Shane came home from the last day of school as the Mario Kart Champion in Excel Math, they had a tournament.  I think he was more proud of that than getting an A in the class
Hailey's class had an American Idol party and her group did Uptown Funk.

Last day

Shane never wanted to take anything out of his backpack, all year long.  He would come home with no homework yet his backpack weighed 25 lbs.  He claims it is easier to carry everything than to take things in and out of his locker.  We call it his double wide.
Then there is Hailey who wants to leave the house every morning extra early, before you are allow to go on campus.  We told her the earliest we will leave the house is 8:00am.  So from 7:55-8:00 she's yelling, "Let's go!"  The last day of school we got distracted and she wasn't happy. Check out the time- 8:07.

San Diego Tourney

We went down to San Diego for Shane's Basketball tournament.  We stayed with Grandma and Grandpa the first night.  Jesse and Grandpa picking the best avocados
I swear Avalee never takes a bad picture, she's eating Grandpa's baby carrots
The chickens are still a hit and like to swing with Shane.  2 chickens might come to our house next month!  kids are so excited
Hailey spent the day at the Safari Zoo with Landon, and his aunt.  I love that the aunt told us all about how healthy Hailey is.  She can talk a good talk.  It's so nice to hear from others how great, nice, funny and easy your child is.
I never got any photos of Shane playing basketball, the whole reason why we were away, but here he is in uniform- Lob City.  He did well considering how little he has played in the past 6 months.
His team got Turd Place and had a lot of fun

Owen D

We met Colleen for lunch and the newest addition to the family Owen Draguesku, 1 month old.  We bored him to sleep.
So great to see Colleen and all the new stuff they have done to their house, love it!
I told Colleen and Owen to smile and then guess who popped out of no where, Reef.  He just wanted to be in a picture!  He's the kind of dog that makes you want one.
