Futsal

My happy place is playing Futsal.  During the summers Shane gets to play with me and he loves it too.  He says it's his favorite sport- just like his mommy.  This morning Hailey joined us as we were lacking 1 player.  I can't tell you how excited she was.  She talked about it for days.  3 Happy Feet!

Horse Lessons

Hailey got horse lessons for her Bday and is finally using them.  We found the perfect place, it's in our neighborhood, they give you boots, helmet and a horse to borrow.  Hailey came home the first day and you could just see it in her face, she was one happy girl.  It's her happy place and she likes to be there 30 minutes  early.  

 For a girl that doesn't like to wear pants, let alone jeans, says a lot!

I don't see the fun in that but she LOVES it!

Bedroom

Hailey got the bug one night to re-due her room.  We told her in the morning we could do it.  She was so excited and woke up at 7am which is very unusual.  We took everything out, cleaned it up and rearranged it.  She loves hanging out in her room now and keeping it clean.

Cousin Kylee, Uncle Brian, Avalee, Breelyn and Aunt Twylla came to visit us for the night.  We celebrated Twylla's Bday with a PF Changs feast at our house

Decoding

Shane's favorite TV show was Gravity Falls.  It only ran 1 season because the producer said it was just too much work.  Every show has hidden codes, pictures that they try to figure out.  A few months ago it was announced that they would release a book with all the hidden codes and writings/journals that they never released in the shows.  Lets just say Shane is obsessed.  I'm talking hours of figuring out codes, patterns and hidden things.  Here we are 3 days after getting the 1st book, buying a new one as it fell apart

Danons!

So great to get a visit from the Danons!  It's so easy having them around, feels like family and they are so entertaining.  Jake and Shane are dorking out with Pokemon Go

Camp Camp

Camp Camp was in full swing last week.  I took the kids to the Circus.  I bought some mediocre tickets and as i showed the ticket-taker our tickets he asked me, "Do you like upgrades?"  Um Yes! Here we are in the 4th row center in the Staples center.  Too bad it wasn't a basketball game

We have had some pretty sweet beach days!  Only 1 of the 5 kids got really burned that day!

I took the kids to a Parkour place.  They took 1 lesson and were bored.  So we came back for open gym and it's their new favorite place, Ever!  Hailey pegging her friend doing a flip while Shane about to launch off the bar
