Crazy horse girl

So i emailed Tiffany (horse lady) that Hailey won't be consistently coming to take lessons because she has to pay for it herself.  But i did say it was Hailey's happy place and she loves it down at her barn.  Tiffany replied and told me that Hailey is welcome to come and help out in the barn during camp, lessons and on weekends 9:30-5pm most days.  So yesterday i dropped off Hailey at 9:30am and came to check on her at 12:00 to see if she was ready to come home.  Hailey said No Way and stayed until 5pm.  When i picked her up  7 1/2 hours later she said it was the best day ever!  So guess what she is doing today, 7 1/2 hours of working at the barn.  I think we are in trouble with this hobby, things are getting serious.

 Hailey worked so hard, taking the horses out, organizing stuff, taking the bunnies out, caring for the chickens, and helping the campers during their rides and stuff i just don't understand yet.  She likes to tell me, "Mom you just don't get it!"

 Tiffany teaches the girls how to feed horses, give them shots they practiced on grapefruit, about the plants in the area, how to hang tackle, put saddles on the horses and brush the horse, ect.  She is teaching the girl the whole package which is so amazing.  Hailey loves Tiffany and she is so good with the kids giving them a ton of responsibility while teaching them and making it fun

 Hailey told me she likes that none of her friends to it with her because that would be a distraction- she's all business

 Hailey used her money for 1 lesson this week and she likes to make the horse go fast!

Swap Meet

Our first time to the Swap meet and Hailey worked hard.  Got there at 7am and she did most of the work.  Talking to customers and demonstrating the items.

 We didn't realize that you have to stay until 3pm so it was a long day but she sold almost everything!  Shane just sat in the shade and called himself the accountant.  He liked to be behind the scenes

 Worked hard and it paid off.  Horse lessons here we come

VIP

The Belofskys are so generous to us.  They invited Shane to a VIP tour of Universal Studios.  This doesn't just entail cutting in line for every ride which they did all day long.  It also included access to behind the scenes of current movies and TV show productions and a private guide all day long

 Shane said that He and Aidan felt so special all day with their VIP status.  He absolutely loved it and got to see the new Harry Potter stuff.  Not to mention all the meals they got -VIP style

Broad Museum

We stopped at the Broad Museum on our way home

Pete came out to visit and we rode our bikes out to Martha's for breakfast

We wanted to change things up so we stayed at a friend's Malibu house for a few nights.  Couldn't have been any nicer.

We watched the Olympics, gymnastics, and the kids were inspired and wanted to show me their favorite move
