Got Bees?

Hailey yelled at me, "Mom, come look!"  It was a swarm of bees just hanging out on our driveway.  A few hours later I noticed that there was a new hive in the tree.  Jesse has been wanting a hive and has bee boxes throughout the yard to attract a hive.  He put on his bee suit and clipped the hive out of the tree

Wondering where all the flour is in LA?  We went through a 25lb bag, in 1 month

It's really hard to sit around the house all day and not fix the things that bugged you.

Jesse hates our greenhouse and its awning so away it went

  He got the kids to start demolishing it.  

They all wore some kind of headset so they were talking extra loud.  From afar, it was really amusing.

 Little did they know that they would be chased down in the parking lot by some masked women yelling at them, "I gave you the wrong order" while driving away

 Hailey in her new dress.  When she put it on she said in a really surprised voice, "Wow,  I actually look cute today!"  Sweats and comfy clothes for the past month

So after 3 1/2 weeks of the kids and Jesse creating an Instagram account the results are in.......

 tied for 2nd place with 24 followers are Jesse and Shane

Jesse's west_coast_chickens post were all very artsy.  Jesse will continue posting pictures of the chickens.  

Shane's Mr.rockoffica1 posts were all very creative required a lot of thought.  He says he is done posting unless he thinks of something really creative to post.  He has 1 stranger/non-friend follower

 And the winner with 124 followers, half of which are strangers, was Haibutt.  All her posts had the "cute" cat factor.  Hailey loves posting and will continue

Let's get creative

 While cleaning the closet I found a really old plate making kit.  The kids and i decided to design some dinner plates.  I created a family of faces

 Hailey made a super cute artistic plate and then threw it out.  She made the food pyramid and Squidward

Spring Break II

Breakfast in Hawaii

Shane made waffles, eggs and bacon all from scratch just like our resort in Hawaii would have.  While Hailey put on her Hawaiian dress, puka shells and played the ukulele during breakfast.  We thought we were in Hawaii for about 1/2 a second.  The breakfast was outstanding

Jesse and I have been in the garden for hours everyday.  The chickens and cat love it.  I almost decapitated Ken a few times

We did a cookie exchange with a few families.  Kids made these cookies all by themselves

They made Covid 19 balls

Delivered and complied with government standards.  Shane really enjoyed wearing the mask in the car and having people stare at him

Jesse has been getting his gourmet cooking on.  

 We all sat outside with Hawaiian music, eating stuffed Mahi Mahi wrapped in cabbage while the chickens, peacocks and cat roamed free- Just Like Hawaii!

 It was delicious and we all enjoyed it!  I love when Jesse cooks

I got motivated one morning and told myself, I'm not doing anything until I finish this puzzle.  I finished at noon and the kid were starving as they were too lazy to cook for themselves

We had a bonfire with 3 families via Zoom and played charades with them

 For some reason Zoom didn't kick us off after 30 minutes, we played for over an hour.  It must have been because we were so entertaining
