Hailey found out that Jesse had shaped a surfboard years ago.   She got so excited and wanted to ride it the next day. 

I love that Hailey is motivated to wake up early and go to the beach, it's been awesome

Businessman

We have a new businessman in the house.  Shane has been helping Jesse get some paperwork done

Driving

We took Shane off of auto insurance when Covid started, there was no need for him to go anywhere.  Last week we put him back on since Jesse and I were gone a lot, working.

The kids getting lunch and going grocery shopping.  Shane said his driving skills came back pretty naturally

San Onofre

The kids and I headed down South to meet Colleen and the boys, and Uncle Dave too!  

Shane and I made a giant moto race track for Owen and Clay to drive their motorcycles on

While Colleen took Hailey out surfing, Hailey said it was Awesome

It was great to see the cousins and get in the water.  Clay and Owen are super chill and so easy

my favorite restaurant is on the way home, Cava.  I even saved some in my teeth for later

4th of July

The Meyers always host the 4th if they are in town.  It's our camping group that celebrates

Cousin Erica

Erica and Jean Francois come down only a few times a year and swung by the house for a visit.

 The kids were shocked at how active they are and then of course Erica did the zip line 

And then a little arm wrestling.  For some reason I thought I could beat Shane who's a lefty and we wrestled right

It was great to see Erica and Jean Francois, both kids said right after they left, "They are so funny"

Work

Work has been crazy and Jesse has been focusing on getting people home.  We had a crewmember that was picked up in San Diego and had to be delivered to the Canadian border.   We drove him to Oregon and handed him off to another company to finish the drive.  

We stopped in Ashland, OR to have dinner and look around.  It's the cutest town
