Video Games

Shane has been obsessed with Video Games this summer so we thought of a new system. For every 15 minutes that he reads to us he earns 1 dollar. He just earned enough money to buy Super Mario Galaxy 2. He lacks a little in his reading skills so we tell him for every minute that he reads he can play video games. I think by the time summer is over he will have read more than i have in the past year!

Fireworks

We lost track of time and rushed over to my parents house to see the fireworks. Not everyone made it but die-hards

Crab Boil

The Kato's invited a bunch of families over for a 4th of July Crab Boil. Didn't really know what to expect but this was haning out pool side

The kids loved playing with crabby and wanted to go swimming with it

The boil- they threw everything into the big pots all at once, sausages,veggies, spices, crabs, and shrimp

Then they just dumped everything on the tables that were covered in white paper, and we all just dove in and ate. It was unbelieveable, we could have been on the East Coast at some primo restaurant

Hailey and Daddy

Hailey got to do a night out with mommy and daddy as Shane was sleeping over at a friends house. Hailey was a daddy's girl all night, and even wanted to dress like daddy

We have been in the pool almost everyday. Hailey now dives head first into the pool. While she was sitting in the Jacuzzi she was watching an instructor give lessons on how to dive and as soon as he was done she wanted to give it a try. She did it, no fear.

So then i tried to get Shane to dive but i had to assist him. This is the only picture i got of Shane that day, he wouldn't smile and he is always underwater
