Beach Ride

I took both kids for their first time together on a "real" bike ride. I wore rollerblades and we ended up going 4 miles. The best part was that they have the same size bike so Shane and Hailey go about the same speed. Hailey sure has the drive to keep up!

Famous Butt

A big group of us went to the beach after school to enjoy the wonderful beach weather. As we were sitting there, a guy from the local paper wanted to know if he could take some picture of the kids. The next morning my dad called to see if Shane had gone to the beach and if he wore blue boardshorts. The front page of the Daily Breeze has Shane's butt and some of his buddies jumping. It was perfect, each of the families that went to the beach had at least one child in the picture!

Thankful for

At Hailey's school the kids each got a turn to say what they are thankful for. The teacher wrote down what each kid said. Every kid said either their mom or dad except for Hailey who said- Shane. Apparently she talks about him at school a lot.
