Jake and Reese visit

It was the perfect weekend for the Danon's to come out. We had our Indian Guides BBQ and they got to see everyone

Girls crashing the Indian Guides party

Jake slept over. I forgot what an easy kid he is to have over. The kids were so excited to see each other again and had such a good time

We had to take the kids to the Bubble Balls after they saw the video of us walking on water. We rallied the troops and had 4 families join us.

totally amped up for this

was wired and waiting for this moment all day

Sporty Spice running on water

Shane, Kyle and Hailey doing their stuff

Reese in a ball, by far the youngest. Jaime lied that she was of age. Not even close to the minimum age but Reese loved it

The kids loved going in the bubble balls so much that everyone wanted to do it again. We told them no, we have to go eat at Hooters now! Kyle's exact words, "Again?" Kids eat free on Sundays

“Walking” on water

...so your kids are with a babbysitter, you have the whole night to do what ever you want, naturally you think you can walk on water...think again.

A video of Molly and Jaime battling it out

Saar and Jaime were in town and joined us in our night out. We all got in the pool at the same time. You wouldn't believe how hard it was to stand up in those balls. We were laughing so hard and in the end had tears going down our face and our tummies hurting. What a fun memory.

Backhand

I got Jesse on the tennis court the other day while the kids were at school. He had a few hours to spare one morning. While we were playing he got a call and this is what i heard, "Could i give you a call back, I am working out." The other person said something like what are you working on and then Jesse said, "I am working on my backhand." Never thought i would hear those words out of his mouth. Jesse is a really good tennis player, i have to be careful not to practice with him too much!

Kapok Tree

Shane's class put on a play called "The Great Kapok Tree" Shane and Riley were snakes and had a few lines and then sang a song

The Cast- Shane top left with yellow visor

Hailey the proud sister. It amazes me how well Shane spoke (loud and clear) and sang in front of such a large group. No butterflies for him

Hailey's last day

Hailey posing with her certificate- You Did It! Papa and i were the only ones who made it to the party, Hailey was in an ultra-social mood that day!

Hailey sitting next to her best friend Sophie. Whenever they see each other they giggle

Hailey just adored her teacher Miss Colleen. Whenever Hailey is at home she always wants to make art projects for Miss Colleen.

Miss Colleen told me all year long that Hailey is such a sweet girl, always helping out and happy. Hailey knows how to butter up the teacher already

ARRRGGGGHHHHHH

4 families went to the Pirate Dinner Theme Show. We borrowed some costumes from some neighbors and even our friends that met up with us didn't recognize us. The costumes were nicer than the actual ones in the show. The kids looked adorable but we didn't get any good pictures.

The funniest thing was that total strangers were coming up to Jesse and asking to take a photo with him before and after the show. They would say to him, "You were great in the show." We were all laughing our heads off. At least he has something to fall back on when times get tough.

tried 5 different ways to rotate this picture and none worked so tilt!

another good time had by all!

San Diego Zoo

We headed down to San Diego over Memorial Day weekend or night and met up with all the cousins at the Zoo. It was a nice relaxing trip and good to see everyone

Hailey and Shane were in a love bird mood, didn't last long.
