Sleepover

Shane and Hailey had a sleepover at the Katos while we went to Dave's retirement party. It was Hailey's first sleepover and she loved it. She got to sleep with Reiko and wants to do it again. I am all for it!

Girls

It was nice to have Nat out. She entertained the kids and vise versa. Thanks to Hub for watching the kids as we girls got to go shopping one day! We even got asked if the three of us were sisters!

We have been having some perfect beach days and taking full advantage of it. Some surf and sand at 9am. Nat took most of these shots with her iPhone believe it or not

Nat's visit

One of our favorite things to do- bike to Martha's
Nat is telling Hailey in this picture that she is going to beat her. Hailey is up for any challenge and started pedaling like crazy. Hub just sat in front and allowed Hailey to do most of the work. Shane in the lead

Shane Birthday Sleepover 1

Look who's 8! Happy Birthday Shane-e

Shane had 6 of his closest friends come over for a sleepover
Liam, Kyle, Charlie, Riley, Kyle and Spencer

Took them to In N Out for dinner, not too many other places you can take 8 kids and 2 adults

The treasure hunt we put together for the kids. It had 7 different stages and was a hit

Shane's Birthday Sleepover 2

The cake celebration- I guess i didn't see the memo that everyone must have some sort of weapon in their hand as we sang Happy Birthday

A cake loaded with candy and a singing candle, Shane thought it was the greatest cake ever

Shane opening his presents. It was funny to watch the kids swarm around Shane talking about opening this and that and blah blah blah. Just constant chatter and excitement

On our way to ding dong ditching and tee-peeing. All the kids in the trunk of the minivan

We hit the Kato's house and the kids thought that they were so sneaky. Never mind the fact that the sensor light on the house kept going off, the kids were really loud, talking and laughing, and their tee-peeing skills were rightfully horrible - just the beginning

I have never seen this group of kids move as fast as they did when i yelled, "Car" and they all laid down on the ground. Then i faked "Car" because it was so funny to watch them hide

Back home watching a movie- Liam, Hailey, Riley and Kyle W

Can't believe they watched the whole movie, that never happens. Got them all down at midnight

too!
