Shane-O

I can't tell you how proud I have been of Shane the past 5 1/2 weeks.  He hasn't complained once about his injury and has handled it better than I ever would have.  Always in a good mood and the crazy thing is, he only eats 1 meal a day!
The one thing that has changed in the past month, he is now in a group text and actually responds!  That is huge, he never would have done that before the injury.  Most parents try to keep their child from texting, we promote it with Shane.  Here he is at the Tofu House filling up for the day

5 1/2 weeks of healing, Shane has made huge progress.  Still hurts to dribble a basketball but no more sling!

Camps/Jennings visit

Cathy, Duane, Katie, Eli and Lyla came down for a visit and brought a few really hot days with them

The girls thought their fort was awesome
The tide was bringing in some weird scalloped shorelines that the kids enjoyed running along

Poor Shane can't do a whole lot at the beach

Can you do this with a broken collarbone?  He has 7 more weeks of healing
 Video game time

Hailey wanted in on the colored hair look so Katie dyed her tips blue and a streak in the front

We went to visit Grandma Hobb in San Diego and meet up with everyone who was already down there

Dinner back at the Hobb's house and chickens

Shane is a chicken whisperer
We got to see Adam who flew into San Diego

It was great to see and catch up with everyone again

Selfies with Hai

When a child has a selfie stick, you capture some crazy moments

I love this pictures because I don't know if Makenna is posing by being on her phone or if Hailey just took a selfie with a teenager on a phone

Mother's Day

Mother's Day Breakfast with everyone
Mother's bike ride

What makes this trip so successful is that everyone has the same style of parenting- No BS!
One of the new families this year said, "I've never seen so many kids, so well behaved."  -That's right!
A great way to spend Mother's Day weekend.  I always look forward to hanging out with this camping group
