Mini vacation

We took a little mini vacation for Veterans day.  Kids skipped school and we went up to the Huntington Library to have high noon tea and to hang out in the gardens.  Warning we took a LOT of pictures, kids were in a goofy mood

I think the kids had a good time “trying” to be proper having high noon tea

The kids were laughing so hard that they both had tears in their eyes

I love that Jesse enjoys going to have high noon tea.  It’s something we did a lot dating and pre kids and this is his his idea.  You da man!

We headed out to the gardens to burn some energy.  Yes, Shane is on his tippy toes, I’m not that short, yet!

The race track is the highlight

We went in a few buildings to check out the art work.  The kids had fun doing the self guided tour

We stayed at the Marriott downtown LA and went to the Clippers game that night.  It was fun to walk around LA Live, Staples Center and then to walk “home”
