Los Cabos

Who books a vacation on a whim from a postcard they received in the mail at work?  Jesse does, and I ain't complaining!  We celebrated his 42nd birthday and our 18th anniversary with 5 wonderful days.  It was the most relaxing and enjoyable trip yet and we never once worried about the kids or really talked about them.  They were in good hands- Thanks Papa and Papu

Hyatt Ziva
Minutes after arriving at the hotel, instant vacation mode

 All-Inclusive food and drinks
Evening stroll and swim in the Sea of Cortez

 Don't ask
The water was probably the warmest I have ever felt it, 87 degrees!  You could swim for hours
Not what you think

 Mi Hombre

 Firepits on the beach
The first 3 days at the resort were a ghost town, we had the place to ourselves
Jesse couldn't have planned a better location.  Who knew that when he booked it, there was going to be a swell and Zippers steps from our hotel!  Happy Birthday
 Tubed?

Evening show
Researching next surf spot
 road less traveled
Excuse me, do you know where the best surf spot is?  Why yes, its Shipwrecks
Shipwrecks. Jesse got a session in here and there was only 1 other surfer and some fun waves
We ventured out for dinner 1 night and it was a night to remember.  My friend Beth told us her favorite restaurant in the whole world was in Cabo, so we booked it.  We thought we were lost and asked the guard for directions to El Farallon.  Next thing we knew he said, Welcome Camps, go right ahead.  There was a 200 meter tunnel lined with chandeliers through a mountain!  Holy Moly
Other side of the tunnel was the Pacific Ocean with a resort nestled in the cliffs
Enjoying a few drinks in utter ahhhh
 Live music
Heading to dinner, it was like we were in a movie

We went snorkeling at Chileno Bay, where the fish come to you

Next day was pure relaxation

Thank you Mexico for the amazing week, till next time
Back to reality
